Hi friends. Thank you for all of your comments and thoughts on a white kitchen vs. a wood toned kitchen. I loved clicking through to some of your sources!
Last week I shared some of my shopping finds, including the beautiful wood and iron table for the cottage project entry. The walls were painted Hazy Skies by Benjamin Moore, and I found this beautiful wool rug by Nate Berkus at Target. But this large entry needed to be accessorized. The whole house is quite neutral with black, white, beige, cream, and blues. There is so much nature through her windows, including the river, that we really wanted that to be the focus.
Here's the plan for her entry:
Sheri entertains often and therefore needs a lot of flexibility in her design. I love that the stools and bench could both be brought into her living room for extra seating at parties. Even the six-foot long table is on wheels, and could be rolled into the living room.
What do you think? Is this an entry space you'd like to welcome you home?

I absolutely love this board! Totally fits with my style. Can I ask where that floral pillow is from? I love the colors in it!
It is so welcoming and pretty. I hope she sends you a finished or in progress photo!
I LOVE Hazy Skies - just got off the phone with a long-distance client 30 minutes ago after we decided on that color as the main neutral for her home!
I love this inspiration board, specially the rug and the pillows.
Hope you like my inspiration boards too!
