I'm sure you are all dying to hear every last detail about the wedding shower, but there has been a slight snafu with my schedule and you'll have to wait a bit. Dry your eyes-- the post is coming soon!
However, I was doing a bit of research on stairs and entryways today so I thought it would only be fair to share my favorites with you!
Worth noting:
* Be sure to focus on lighting. There is no builder basic lighting on this list.
*Consider wall treatments. Wallpaper, paneling, and millwork (trim) all make a huge impact.
* Have no fear. You should never design your home out of fear, like painting everything neutral because you're afraid of color. Your entry is the first chance to make an impression. It should speak to who you are and be a preview to the rest of your home.

Dy-ing over the blue grasscloth.. I am thinking I am going to have to use some when we move (like that will ever happen!!)
uggh, love them all.
And I love how each entry has a table or someplace to put things down. That is so important!

Love the gold on zebra look. I'll have to remember that combo. And since I'm such a sucker for wallpaper, I really liked the blue with flowers, too.
Hmm, entryways, huh? Makes me want to retake my pictures to make them look better!
This post inspires and depresses at the same time. lol. I soooo need some wow in my entry. I love all of these shots. Each one has something fantastic. That blue grasscloth, the zebra, the papered ceiling. I could live in any one of those. All day. Every day. Thanks for the inspiration.
Love your advice - I agree have no fear! That second picture - oh my heavens I'm in love! Black, white, and gold = yes please!
Abby so beautiful, I think the second image is my favorite!
....I wanted you to know...I am featuring Anita Rivera, our Friend, Designer and Paper Artist with Castles Crowns & Cottages, & her Giveaway on my site!

They are all so pretty. Loving all the fun wallpaper that was used.
That blue entry at the end is beautiful. I just started working on our entry and just love your ideas, good job!
I so agree with you... entryways are the perfect place to go bold. Since it's a room that you pass through rather than spending a lot of time in, you have to do something fabulous to make an impression! That said, my entryway needs a lot of work!!!
Goodness...I was just a pinning fool with these images.....
Love every single image. I am pinning like crazy.
