One of the fastest ways to add style to your home is with something unexpected. You may think lucite is for the more modern home, (or you may not think of lucite at all) but when just a touch is added, it creates a fabulous point of interest. Let's check out a few of my favorites.
I am dying over these lucite handrails.

This would look amazing in an entry or even as a small desk.
These magazine holders are a must have for my new office.
They allow the magazines to work as art.

These trays are darling. Not too modern...just right.
Finally, you really can't go wrong with a lucite console in the entry. CB2 offers a few good options. I think one would look great under my wood shim mirror. Don't you think?

Would you use lucite in your home? Even the smallest additions can really add depth and the unexpected.
Take the plunge!

Sometimes it reminds me of the 70´s but in the right place lucite looks pretty good!
I'd add it in a heartbeat, I love the unexpected! Those rods are amazing!
Ohh yes all of those are fabulous. I especially like the handrails, you are right, it's an unexpected touch.
I'll have to figure out a way to get it in my house...
You and I are soul sisters- I love lucite! I'm dying to get a tray for our dining room, but waiting until we have the colors down.
Ohhh... I love lucite! I would love a lucite/acrylic coffee table in our living room! And I have seen great acrylic pieces for a great price at target, on line! Love those railings! WOW!
I'm probably going to be the lone person on this but I've never been drawn to lucite. I do like the idea of using a lucite table or side tables that could just disappear in a small space and add some smooth, shiny texture.
I had pinned that exact image of the lucite console and was trying to think of how to use it in my entry! I love the look and the CB2 prices!

I have some lucite candlesticks that I love. It adds a nice modern element to my classic style. I also use lucite trays for client presentations. They work great for grouping fabrics, tile and wood samples in.
Oh yeah. It's been on my wish list for sometime now. And so many knockoffs are starting to enter the market.
