The T. House stairs are completed! I must say that I'm thrilled with the results. I know the homeowners are happy and that is what's most important.
This is a pretty dramatic before and after--Enjoy!

I love the the dark treads and handrails with the white risers and spindles. The soft blue paint colour reflects the light beautifully.

Thanks everyone! Shelley- the carpet is new, but they replaced all the flooring in the upstairs. If you don't need to stain the treads, I'm not sure ripping out the carpeting is necessary. Any tips from readers who have done this before?
