e-design mood board: turquoise and pink nursery

Monday, February 21

Welcome back to your week!
editors note: click here to see the finished room

Here is the mood board for one of my e-design clients...also known as "baby sister" to this big girl.  Just click on the board and scroll down for a source list!

My client provided me with their budget, measurements of the room, and answered a few questions. Viola!  They have nursery inspiration under budget with just a few splurges.  They also receive a floor plan of the room so there is no confusion on how everything will fit.  This was so fun to work on because I have actually known the mom since we were eleven!  :-)

There is a big mix of price points and I love how the design came together.

I hope you like it!

That is going to be one very lucky baby! Beautiful work Abby, I love the green rug and the jellyfish print. What color for the paint?

Thanks for the comments! The wall color is Boca Raton Blue by Benjamin Moore. It looks very green on the paint chip but is the perfect turquoise on the walls, without beng too bright.

It is beautiful!!! Are you going to post pictures of the nursery once it is all put together?

Thanks Marta! Yes, I believe they will let me share "after" photos. The window treatments take a few weeks to be made so the change will not be instant. The best part of the Roman Shades is that if you order five you get a discount. We used 3 in her sister's room and two here so it all worked out. :-)
